Novel ConceptsThe Indie Author Guide Line
The Indie Author Guide Line
Somewhere tonight, a reader who would love your book is describing it to a chatbot in a sentence, and the chatbot is handing her four titles that are not yours.

Short, honest, source-checked guides for independent authors who've finished a book and can't find a single reader for it. No income claims. No ranking promises. Just a clear account of how the mechanism actually works, so you can make your own call.

Browse the Guides About This Project

The Indie Author Guide Line is a set of short, honest guides for independent authors who have finished a book and cannot find a single reader for it. Each one begins at the moment the manuscript exists and the marketing has to start. None of them teaches anyone how to write.

Every figure in these guides carries a source and a date. Where a number everyone repeats turns out to have no source, the guide says so and leaves the hole open rather than filling it with a guess. What each book offers is a clear account of how a mechanism actually works, stated honestly, so you can make your own call about whether it's worth an afternoon.
